National Wool Museum

Located in an historic wool store, this museum explores the wool industry from fleece to fabric, and daily lives and work of pastoralists, shearers, textile mill-workers and others in the past through to the present. Also hosts temporary exhibitions.

 

Narmbool Environmental Discovery camps

Narmbool is a 2000 hectare working property including wetlands, conservation zones and remant vegetation comunities. At Narmbool, Middle years students enjoy an all inclusive education program focusing on biodiversity and sustainable development.

Mixed farming of fine wool, cereal cropping and a free range piggery, farm forestry. An example of a working farm using sustainable agriculture practices. Self-catering accommodation for 24 is available.
