Landcare Education Program
Jim Mead conducting Landcare activity

Landcare Education offers:

  • Teachers' Professional Development. Sessions addressing Landcare, Community Engagement and Sustainability themes are available to individual schools, clusters or through sessions conducted at teacher regional conference.
  • School Programs. These practical activities can be conducted at either the Parks Victoria Creswick Site or in the school. These activities help involve and inform students about Natural Resource Management and students' role in conservation and are delivered in a Landcare context.

School programs can be tailored to suit individual school needs with regard to addressing Biodiversity issues and helping with Revegetation programs.

Activities/programs can also add value to existing camps/excursions in the Ballarat region and can be adapted to meet the needs of the group.
